School Meals Survey - how have YOU been affected?

There have been a lot of changes recently in the demands made of staff working in the school meals services.

Anyone involved in the service is asked to take a few minutes to complete a UNISON survey that will provide a clearer picture of the impact these demands are having on members.

Download the survey here (pdf file 260Kb) and you're asked to return it BEFORE 5 JANUARY 2009 to the address shown at the end of the document. (updated 01.01.09)

This is welcome news and means that all local government employees on NJC pay will receive the new rate of pay and back-pay backdated to 1 April 2008. A joint circular instructing councils to 'pay up' will be sent out today.
